Nahhh, JDM stuffs is happening over the summer. Hopefully bringing over a container with a few buddies. Definitely bringing in an MC22 in all it’s 20000 RPM 250cc 4 cylinder glory, and an Acty. Two of us will be looking to motocompos too!

yea. here in canada its also a total pain to get insurance as its not a 17 digit vin and the “rr” SCREWS us so bad.

I wanted to like the Beat I drove, I really did. but it was sooooo much slower than my 1.6 NA without offering a significantly different driving experience.

I want to see someone spend $100,000 or so to get it approved, just for the articles it would inspire. There are only 300, they’re easily identifiable from a normal FD2R, and Mugen has a VIN list, so it is theoretically possible.

Well show and display should theoretically be fairly cheap. You wouldn’t be able to daily it or anything, but i don’t see why you couldn’t get it on the road for not much outlay.

I’m excited, this particular one is an old shop car from my friend’s shop. It’s the only car I’ve been in that gave me tunnel vision like my 1000cc sportbike. Recently he decided to focus energy on other platforms gave me first crack at it. I’m jumping at the chance to buy something genuinely dumb while I’m still at this weird point in my life where I have both a comfortable cash flow and a decent amount of free time.
